Good platformer, but can get tedious

Save the Furries is an enjoyable experience if you like platforming games and solving physics puzzles in a 2D environment without much eye candy. There are 60 levels spread on a number of different planets, where you'll control little green creatures and get from point A to point B. This, hovewer, might prove more difficult than you'd imagine. Despite starting out easy, the difficulty quickly ramps up and can get frustrating. This is less of a trial and error game than it is one where you have to solve puzzles in order to progress. It's not as easy as jumping over a spinning spiked wheel an reaching the higher platform. Your patience will be tested when having to solve certain physics puzzles with a great number of elements to consider. It's not easy at all. The graphics are a simple 2D with pleasantly coloured backgrounds, which change from planet to planned, offering some diversity not only visually, but in terms of gameplay mechanics as well, which is a nice touch. Maybe some levels might feel a little empty on the artistic side, but their general design has pleased me. Not the same can be said about the sound effects and music, which can get really repetitive after a while, and, due to frustration from inability to progress further, can get on your nerves at times. All in all, this is by no means a bad gam. It's a platformer that for one doesn't only test your reflexes, but also your judgement. For the small price you can buy it, I would say it's worth it.
