Less Stealth but Lots of Fun

This game is unlike other Splinter Cell games because there is a lack of stealth. Don't get me wrong, there is still stealth in this game, but I found it very easy to go Rambo in this game. You can still use stealth in many situations and still find this game to be very fun. The multiplayer is very very fun. My favorite part of this game. It's a 1v1 where both of you are spies and you must achieve the highest score by killing each other or NPC's. Again, this game will piss off some die hard Splinter Cell fans, but should be enjoyable to everyone else.

Love the stealth mechanism

I love the multiplayer in this game. Tons of hours were put into this game and the coop is amazing. The only problems I find with it is that the connection method is very spotty and sometimes doesn't work at all.

A long time ago since I played a Splinter Cell so I have not followed the evolution of the series over the past deliveries. Clearly the series has opted for the action but the controls are a bit rough for these purposes. It is true that stealth is the main axis, but in this installment go unnoticed without killing anyone is impossible unless a specific section in all sites have to kill your enemies silently. Not a bad thing, but different to that seen at the beginning of the saga. A major problem in this regard is that the bodies can not hide as in previous installments, something really annoying. But that said, this issue is much more deadly and bloody than before so if someone discovers the body kill it quickly before the alarm and so on. The story is quite entertaining hackneyed case of spy stories, with some interesting flashbacks to put us in a situation of what happens among players today. And the duration of the game will walk the 10 hours but all depends on how you go, to the COD or with a more infiltration thinking the way and the guards paths. Graphically the game looks great on PC, it shows that it is a 2010 game but overall is pretty solid and the details are very well maintained. The game has a pretty good dubbing, that except for some sporadic voice touches the outstanding less worked. The sound effects and music are very correct. As innovation is a game that offers nothing particularly novel in itself say that the plot and setting are the most original. Definitely a highly recommended game, fun and replayable ... and more to the price than this.

Great Splinter Cell Game.

While I think this is probably the best entry in the series since the first, I still find it has its flaws. The controls for a gamepad with PC are uncustomizable and are very flawed. They are NOTHING like the controls gamers are used to with most shooter titles. The screen goes black and white any time you are stealth. Personally, I find it annoying and would prefer it to be full color all the time. Stealthing around, knocking people out is still very enjoyable though. The story isn't exactly the best and neither are any of the animations but you can't hold it against it when these types of games aren't exactly known for great story.

A welcome change

The splinter cell series revamped itself to a more action-y and fast paced games. Most of the new features and gameplay are quite fun and welcoming. However, they gave up too much of the old Splinter Cell in Conviction. If you are a die-hard splinter cell fan, I would stay away. I would love to see the new gameplay integrated with the told. I think Ubisoft is heading in the right direction with the franchise as long as they bring back to meaning of stealth back into the game.

A great stealth adventure.

While not being my favorite Splinter cell game, this one is still a very good game. The stealth is great and it clearly shows when you are and aren't in stealth. The game doesn't have any sound meters so as soon as you crouch you can move as fast as you want, which may or may not be a bad thing for you. The story is fun and will make you want to keep playing. The coop is great and has its own storyline... it just needed to be longer. Overall it is a great time no matter what! Buy this game for sure!
