A unique game with a fantastic movie like story

Heavy rain is a beautiful interactive game in which it exercises your ability to think fast and make quick decisions. This is a unique game that let's you more sit back and enjoy, cry and feel something for the characters. Most of it is about replying and using your sticks on your controller. Be careful when playing, as you play as 4 different characters, each with their own amazing personality in which you can get attached to. Every choice you make can decide the story. The game has 18 endings so if one character dies, it changes the end. Say a cop dies, then the killer might get away, if your main guy Ethan Mars (who is the target of the killer) dies, it doesn't help Ethan's son, who was kidnappe by the killer and what the hole game is about, every choice changes the story. It is fun and exciting. But there is a lot of emotional scenes so you may need a tissue. You can sit back, watch a beautiful story and be shocked at the outcome

Something Different

An interactive crime whodunit is the best I could describe it, before the game was released I was highly intrigued by the graphics, what it was about and that it was made by the same team who made Fahrenheit (I really enjoyed that game)

The game looks amazing and definitely has the feel of a AAA tile; while its pacing and gameplay will not suit everyone as there is not much 'action' and some of the control's are rather different, such as controlling the characters to walk.

All-in-all, PlayStation 3 users should all experience and check it out.

I wouldn't play it again

This is more of an interactive story than a game. The choices you make advance the story differently, depending on how you decide to do things. There are many different endings which makes this good to replay. The graphics are good enough to keep you immersed in the story. The gameplay isn't much but this is meant to be looked at as a who dunnit sort of story, as you uncover more clues, you are closer to solving the mystery. What I didn't like was that there were a bit too much quick time events, other than that, this is an amazing game.
