Reviews for Cloudberry Kingdom

Difficult but far from frustrating.

Cloudberry Kingdom is addictive and can quickly become enjoyable. Inspired by Super Meat Boy and classic platform oriented die and retry, this independent game uses new mechanics that allow it to be distinguished without difficulty. The opportunity to progress in one go. This is less the case with the principle of levels which adapt to the skill of the player, since in fact, not everything works as expected. But ultimately, for 10$, fans will be challenge stuffed, and that's the point.

Interesting Little Platformer

If you are buying this expecting it to be something like Super Meat Boy, you might be a tiny bit disappointed because whilst it does have the same sort of idea as Super Meat Boy: Get through each level whilst avoiding everything on screen that wants to kill you, that is where the similarity ends, But saying that, this is a clever little platformer as well as once you are done with the Campaign mode, which may take you a while. You can play the Arcade mode which is where the replayability lies. As each level is completely randomised so you will never know what you are going to get unitl you get it. And every level in the game can be done no matter how impossible it might look at first. It makes a welcome change to some easy games out there, but it does have it's moments where you will want to tear your hair out, but worth the money I feel

good luck guys

this game is just intense, its not so much hard because after a certain amount of time on each level you can easily complete it, it's just to bad that 50 hours before that point you get so angry and rage quit.. the game has hardcore gameplay that reward clever thinking and good timing not afk or repetitive playing a nice change from easy games but a little to hard maybe...?

Excellent game

A very good platformer than removes a lot of the guff from others such as exploration, item hunting etc. if you want a pure, hardcore platforming experience, this is the game to get

Cloudberry Kingdom is a colourful and nice platformer. The story is nice and will make you lough, the gameplay is good because it sets the difficulty basing it on your skills. Give it a try if you like this genre.

Cloudberry Kingdom is a fun, satisfying platformer that can, at times, be challenging to the extreme. Randomly generated levels means you can't expect the same result twice, which can be frustrating if you successfully navigate a tricky section, only to die on a really simple one.

This game is good a platformer because it doesn't have a set difficulty. The game changes levels to your skill of the game which is a good feature. Overall alright.

This game is amazing!

Instantly one of the best platformers of all time. I thought that maybe the random levels would only lead to boring redundant levels but I could only be farther from the truth. It's game that can be as challenging as you want it to and even though the levels are random you can save levels to show other people or try again later!

A fun action game

Cloudberry Kingdom is no doubt a very fun game every indie-games fan should at least try to play. What makes it even more interesting is that the levels are randomly generated every time so the game is far from being repetitive. The gameplay is quite interesting and I really enjoyed it - more than I expected, to be honest. At first you can pick amongst 10 heroes, but later on you can unlock new ones and - I was really impressed by that - you can create your very own hero! Now that's something, isn't it! The game also contains a lot of fun game modes such as Campaign, Arcade, and many more. You can also play the game in local multiplayer and cooperative modes - oh, did I mention how fun this game is when you play it with friends or younger brothers? And above all, the game has nice graphics. Cartoonish, yes, but very nice and you will enjoy every second of it. Unfortunately, I bought this game somewhere else, but I had just now realized that you can find this game on GMG as well. Too bad, because GMG's price is much better, because it's cheaper. So if you don't own this game yet, buy it on GMG and you have my word that you'll have fun while playing it!

A colourful, addictive, and satisfying platformer, Cloudberry Kingdom is fantastic fun, and only gets more enjoyable when friends are added to the mix. Whether you enjoy quick stints of responsive platforming, or you’re determined to top the competitive online leaderboards, this endless supply of randomly generated content delivers plenty of difficult but delicious value. Hardcore gaming in its purest form, this game is a homage to the best platform games out there. A good game that needs just a little bit of personality to stand out among the several others platform games available today.
