Smart adventure game with elements of Nordic mythology

Some people consider adventure games a dead genre, I don't agree. Now many great adventure games come not only from the big brands, but often from indie developers. And I mean not only action adventures, but also traditional point-and-click adventures, that Oknytt is one of.

Instead of digitally rendering its graphics, the authors chose to use traditional drawn/painted background artwork for their game. The whole game is accompanied by a limited palette of muted and dark colors, which are perfectly fitting! You control a small creature, and try to solve puzzles and pursue quests in the best point-and-click manner. But there's a twist that sets the game apart from many others - you can use a few weird runes, which have mysterious functions. Each of them alters the world in some way and is somehow related to one element: fire, water, earth and air. A fan of adventure games should not ignore this title.
