loved the other CoJ games. they really felt like i was in a western movie... but this was just a weird modern-day kinda western thing that i didn't really understand all that much. i get it that its clever... but meh... the graphics are nice , but the engine can be slow on some computers from time to time. the story is really the main showman, however, because the gun-play is only so so compared... i would have thought they would bring some truly groundbreaking gameplay with re-vamping the setting :( over-all, not a bad game, but could use some improvements an the places it really counts.

This game is not as good as the other call of juarez games (bound in blood was just awesome), but anyways it is a good game. The main campaign is interesting (five stars to the story) and it can be played cooperative by 3 players (online). Each player haves his own missions and story. The gameplay is also good, it is a nice FPS. You have a lots of weapons and you can shoot the two revolvers like the far west. Graphically it is excellent too (like all Techland's games). The only bad thing is the multiplayer, they are not many players to play. But, only for the single player, it is a good game.

In this game the traditional Wild West setting was exchanged for a modern one. Instead of wild west gangs, bank robbers and gunslingers, there is a Mexican drug cartel. Unfortunately the changes to the game didn't quite work, and the game didn't earn as much popularity and recognition as other games from the series. Still it's not a bad shooter, but one might easily consider it a case of wasted potential. Yet it can be fun, especially with its interesting concept of individual and joint objectives. So even though you are trying to achieve a common goal as a team, each team member can have their own personal goals, which don't necessarily have to go well with goals of the others. This can lead to interesting situations, which may be cool to play.
