Fallout 3 is the Bethesda 'reboot' to the PC classic franchise Fallout. Bethesda Has created yet another Classic for PC. Fallout 3 is one of the best games i have played, The amount of detail that has been put into the landscape that makes up the capital wasteland with all its mutations creates a massively delicious eye feast. The main storyline is compelling and nonrestrictive so you can leave and embark on the plentiful side quests that leak out of almost every NPC that you come across. With all of this good stuff comes the bad. Bugs, this game is a nest full of them. Although most have been fixed with patches from bethesda there are still a good few handfuls left. But alas this is where the dedicated community steps in and lends a hand. The unofficial fallout 3 Patch, a community made patch, fixes most errors that Bethesda missed. This can be obtained though the Fallout 3 nexus, a hub for all mods made by fallouts community. Overall this game is a MUST for all fallout fans or Bethesda fans. a solid experience with an amazing game.

So much better game play & writing than Fallout 1 & 2, and better than new Vegas. Incredibly immersive, and one of the best games ever made of any genre. If you hate games that have terrible story and voice acting, or good actors but horrible game play, then play this,

Fallout 3 is fantastic - I cannot stress this enough. The experience/tone/feel/play style of this game deviates considerably fallout 1 and 2(which were fantastic). For anyone loves a role playing game (without all those pesky swords and horses) this game is a sure thing. Buy this game, buy it now,buy the dlc.
Return of the classic series, now in 3Dmahon | Aug. 15, 2013 | See all mahon's reviews »
I played both Fallout and Fallout 2 years ago, so I was immediately interested in Fallout 3. Unfortunately I was unable to play it when it was released, so I felt as I was late to the party. But finally I got it and managed to play it and, boy, I was impressed! The whole game is now presented in 3D, while the old ones were in isometric view. The change was considered heresy by many but it really immerses us much deeper in the Fallout world. And although it plays much like a FPS now, I think it's not bad as it makes you feel the dangers of Fallout 3 much deeper. With a good storyline, expanded by many DLCs (most of them are really good), the game is evey RPG-plater's must-have.
