Huntsman: The Orphanage is one of those very rare games that has an interesting idea for a game, and it works pretty well. It is one of those games that whilst you can watch people play it, the only way to really get the full experience of the game is to play it yourself. I also like how they take the sound of a ticking clock and make it something that you will learn to fear. I have lost count the amount of times I thought I heard it in game and breathed a sigh of relief when I realised it was the clock on my wall that I heard, Which to me shows how atmospheric the game is if they can make me get scared by my own clock. The stories that each of the characters have to tell also add to the games atmosphere. And they have gotten a Ripley's Believe It or Not master to create the maze that the Huntsman calls home. This is a rare gem of a game, with so many games out there going for the jump scare tactic. It is a nice refreshing change to play something that goes for atmospheric horror

If you like creepypasta, then this is the game you should try. The gameplay is maybe rusty, but the artistic direction works, and the story is interesting enough to let you play the game until the end. Give it a try if you can.

There are many horror games already but few of them are really scary. I've been waiting for Huntsman: The Orphanage for months, since I got a preorder copy. Now that the game was finally released for public, I must say it delivers what I expected. It is different and ominous in its way. The heavy, sinister atmosphere is omnipresent, and the stories and puzzles you will stumble upon in the game remain in the same heavy and uneasy spirit. I would say get the game while it's still fresh, before too many reports and spoilers fill the internet and ruin the surprise and spoil the fun for you. After all good horror game must involve some surprise.
