Reviews for Reign: Conflict of Nations

Decent medieval strategy

Reign: Conflict of Nations is one of potential rivals of Medieval II: Total War, but in fact it's pretty different. Although both games are strategies based in the medieval period, Medieval II seems to be focused on RTS battles with the campaign being only a connection between them, while Reign is more about the big picture: building the empire, ruling your country, and taking care of progress and expansion. I must say that although the game is not perfect, it looks and plays well. Much care was taken to make the game historically accurate or plausible, with tech trees and development based on real historical facts. In my opinion the effort pays off and the game remains a good choice for a fan of medieval strategies.
