Breathtaking experience.

This game is amazing. It is an adventure game, with lots of exploration, dialogues and finding solutions to problems you usually face in adventure games. But when you play it you notice few differences. First of all there is no main character. You are an entity that can posess virtually anyone. And this is required to advance through the game.

Apart from adventure mode there are two more. A beat 'em up, with many combos and upgrades, with tournaments where you can earn cash and other rewards. And a FPS, with various weapons.

What else... The world of Omikron actually lives. You can explore it like in GTA. Go here, there, visit shops, go to a concert of David Bowie! Buy music in a store and listen to it in your apartment.

And all this in a game released in 1999. Nice, isn't it?

The plot is about saving the world, pretty cliche, right? But you get so deeply immersed in this beautiful, detailed world. I picked this game up about ten years ago and played through it few times so far.

It's an amazing, breathtaking experience. It's a shame that game such as this was forgotten. Alas, as it is often the case - the world wasn't ready for it in 1999. Combining an adventure with FPS and beat 'em up, set in a detailed science fiction world of Omikron and featuring great music by David Bowie. A real gem for a collector.

Better than GTA

In the game, you first take on the role of a cop. Ultimately, you have to save the world. NO, DON'T LEAVE YET! There is more to it than that! Besides, the way the game is structured makes the unfolding of the story feel like it is your doing.

You really live in this world, use the hovering cars, talk to the citizens, transfer to their bodies (yes, this is possible and gives you access to their homes and information) and kick their asses on underground martial arts tournaments!

The game offers 3 different perspectives at different sections of the game: 3rd person adventure, beat'em'up and fps. The first two are the best while the fps part leaves a lot to be desired.

The whole experience just takes you in so wholly, you feel like a detective, trying to understand this world and how it works while unraveling the evil plot behind it all.

I think everyone should be able to try this and with that price, it is a great offer.
