Reviews for Sylia

How often do you trade your hero with a big sword and his shy cleric love interest? Sylia lets you deal with a cast of animals and uses this nice twist to its full potential by giving them innovative spells. For instance the dog can "yelp" and try to enroll enemies (that become permanent characters). With a pretty crazy story to play, Sylia is a good game for players who are tired of the old RPG formula.
Interesting RPG but not for everyonemahon | May 15, 2014 | See all mahon's reviews »
Sylia is a role playing game with unimpressive visuals but lots of good stuff to be revealed if you spend some time with this game. You will appreciate the interesting characters, enjoy witty dialogues, and follow the storyline which is both interesting and flavoured with some good humour. I would only be unsure about recommending the game to people used to new games with stunning graphics and memorable soundtracks. This game is pretty forgettable in this respect, but this doesn't make is a bad game. It only is not suitable for anybody. If story is more important to you than graphics, give Sylia a go.

There's a certain charm and allure about Aldorlea games that makes you keep coming back for more. Whether its their well crafted story plots, the engaging (and sometimes funny) characters in "SNES" style graphics, either way fans of the golden age of RPG will be sure to be delighted with Sylia. Aldorlea do best to keep hitting you in the nostalgia feels and are sure to never disappoint. Don't be fooled by the aesthetics of the game, there is a lot of content for a game like this to keep you smiling all the way through for days :)
