When I was younger, I loved playing a game called Panzer General. Same set up but this with modern Weaponry. Finally! I waited for a good follow up. Thank you!

Tank Operations: European Campaign offers several scenarios taking place on various battlefields that raise adrenaline and will force many a player to intense straining gray cells - artificial intelligence adapts itself to each of our moves. In the game you can relive those moments, as the landing of the Allies in the north-west Africa, the invasion of southern Italy, the liberation of Paris and the final battle in Berlin.

Long time has passed by since I played turn-based WWII strategy. This game is real refreshment since all Panzer strategy games.
Game environment is standard half 3D view with hexagonal cells. There is a lot of different types of military unit. Like I said Tank Operations: European Campaign is real refreshment on death field of turn based WWII games, and this is something that you need to try.
Good game overall (at least in my opinion)!MauroR | Nov. 26, 2013 | See all MauroR's reviews »
Turn based strategy aren't exactly my genre but I quite enjoyed this game. I don't know exactly the names and features of Real Life WWII weaponry but for me in the game the various military units (tanks, weapons) and everything else is quite faithful (at least according to my knowledge) but maybe veteran of the genre will be more precise than me and will give you a more accurate overview of the entire game aspect. To conclude ( I won't do a long review spoiling everything, this is that kind of game that you have to try yourself, it's a particular genre) I've enjoyed this game, and at the end it's what that counts, right? The price also is quite low, so nothing to regret.
