Reviews for Dark: Cult of the Dead DLC
Makes the game more enjoyablemahon | Jan. 17, 2014 | See all mahon's reviews »
Dark was supposed to be a modern stealth game, much like the old Thief games, a bit like Hitman or Deus Ex. But unfortunately it fell short of the expectations people had. And the funny thing is that most of us cannot nail it properly and tell why it's not as good as it could be. It simply didn't quite click. But fortunately there's still a chance that additional DLCs will improve it and bring it into line with the original expectations. Now the Dark: Cult of the Dead DLC adds pretty much new content, which will make the base game more interesting and less repetitive. There's a completely new mission, with a new kind of opponent and a new enemy boss. There are also five new challenge maps, so the replayability is greatly improved and gameplay made more diverse. I am waiting for more DLCs like this and hope they will keep expanding and enhancing this game, so we all can enjoy it to the fullest.
