Reviews for Battlefield 4

A standard shooter from Dice

Battlefield is the game which made its name one with the tactical shooter genre.Battlefield feels the same as the 3rd adition of the franchise. Gameplay isnt changed as we used to it with graphics more polished than the precedent.Everything are polished , sounds are great but i have to point it.Shadows and lights in the game make it to hard for the eye to adapt in the environment and track the enemies. My transition from the 3rd included many deaths but it is still hard for the eyes after hours of playingThe game had some problems on its start up but after many updates its in a good condition. Average pcs can handdle the game on medium customization and ultra widescreen monitors are supported.

And before Battlefield 3...

Battlefield 4. Everything is improved. Everything works betters, looks better, sounds better and the experience is awesome. I've been playing this game since it came out, with a million glitches and bugs... but now it's very stable and playable. The campaign: Awesome. If you like war games, this game is going to keep you entertained for hours. The story is not anything new, but it's well written, there are some memorable moments and intense scenes. The multiplayer: Well, this is where most of us spend the time. This is so addictive... I just reached level 100, and I will keep playing it because you never get tired of it. The XP boosts never seem to have an end, and it's kind of a motivation to keep playing. The only thing I miss about the online mode is the COOP part, the missions. I thought they would eventually add a DLC with missions, but that never happened. The Frostbite engine shines in all maps, the destruction is unbelievable, you can see entire buildings going down, sand storms, typhoons... What else should I say? Buy this game!

Battlefield 3 or 4?

The game itself feels like Battlefield 3, however there are new weapons, maps and vehicles etc. I don't feel like "wow" anymore, the games are too similar. I wish there was more innovation rather than just an update. I do like the conquest mode and many of the maps. It's great fun but I lost the urge of playing more after playing now and then for 2-3 weeks. Normally I play a lot more but it's the same with most games released this century, they don't got it anymore.

Disappointing single player

As I am never interested in multiplayer games, I only played the singleplayer section of this game. I ended up being terribly disappointed. The graphics makes too much use of an uninspired colour palette to really impress. There are some good textures, but nothing spectacular. The gameplay is stale, with nothing spectacular. It's the same you have come to expect, but the level design is quite bad, checkpoints placing is not inspired at all, and there are some gamebreaking bugs, such as falling from a ladder under the map, and you cannot overcome that without restarting the whole mission. Not what you'd expect from such a high budget. The story is completely stupid and predictable. There is one funny line/reference, right at the end of the game, about it being made in Sweden. That was about the only good thing about it. That and the sound, which is really good. The multiplayer should definitely be a much superior product, but the singleplayer is an unfinished, unpolished and annoying piece of rubble.

Battlefield 3.5

My friends were urging me to buy this game, and after ~300 hours in BF3 it was a logical step. Well as the other review says it has a lot of issues (still, after many patches). The game is playable of course, but i can see why many people were raging about it. The new features are great additions (new spawn system, more attachments, more grenades, more vehicles, etc) but i wouldn't call it a full game, and we can say that it's still in beta. The vanilla maps are fine as always, but as in the previous part the premium is a must. Thanks to GMG i bought it for half price, if you like the series go for it, otherwise think twice before you buy.

Return to the Battlefield

The newest Battlefield game from DICE brings a lot of new things but also fails is some. THe game looks fantastic and the gameplay is fairly good, expect the netcode is horrific and which is why there is a lot of kill-trading. Mostly the game is good but there is a lot of server side issues with lag and rubberbanding. The multiplayer is very good and it is up to 64 players which is nice. You can play as infantry or with vehicles: tanks and jets. This is a massive war game where you will epic Battlefield moments. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes the good old battlefield series. There are a lot of pros but also some cons but overall it is a good game.
