Ok conclusion to the series

The third and final Adam's Venture game does largely what the previous two had done. The plot and the characters are explored a bit further, but do not stray away from the clichees plaguing the genre. Some puzzles are pretty decent, but some are quite annoying, requiring more trial and error than logic, which was not the case in the first two games. Moreover, it also sends you off with such an annoying puzzle, that it's difficult to remember the series on a too positive note. In conclusion, if you played the previous two, you should definitely give it a shot.

Pretty casual adventure game

If you want to categorize Adam's Venture games somehow, they should be called casual adventure games.

Just like in the previous games from this series, puzzles are not difficult and also not absurd (like in some other adventure games, where you have to try every crazy combination of items and solutions to come up with the right one). They also share game time with some more action oriented sequences, which makes the games more interesting to casual players than hardcore adventure gamers. It took some time for me to get used to the way these games play, but at this point, at the third game, I can call the series enjoyable.

It's not the first choice for an adventure game, but with its low price tag, it's not a bad choice.
