It is Free to play but if you put the time in, as with any game, you can earn everything the game has to offer. The graphics are not out of this world or next gen but its not supposed to be (They are on par with most shooter games these days). The maps are mostly linear (This is both good and bad) so if one or both sides want to sit and not advance or PTFO then there will be sit and shoot games same as any shooter on the market. The squad and team play are where this game excels. I love the ability to see what damage you did and the damage that was done to you by every enemy (After you die). It helps to root out the cheaters, which I have seen much less than other shooters in my many hours playing. I love the cover system which is similar to Rainbow Six and the other Ghost Recon games. Voice coms work great as well.
A More Expensive Version of a Mobile Appcedarson | April 14, 2014 | See all cedarson's reviews »
It is Free to Play, but, in its essence and gameplay, this is basically a militarized, more expensive version of Shadowngun: Deadzone which you can find on most smartphones. The combat is a lot of sit and wait for someone to peek from around the corner then shoot. The animations are a little plastic, and I would honestly prefer to play SG:DZ. I like the Tom Clancy series made by Ubisoft particularly the Rainbow Six type games, but this feels like an afterthought compared to those games. The AAA membership cost is laughable. It was a decent effort, but not worth my time. Pass.
