Kingdoms of Amalur: Rechoning has good and bad things to look on. The good thing is the great and smooth combat. There are a lot of different playstyles to choose from for every kind of player. The maxed out graphics look really appealing and add positively to the immersion of the player. They story is where its most interesting. Listening to the ballads of heroes and fallen is really immersive and a unique way of telling the player a story. It makes one curius as how everything makes sense together and makes the player want to listen to more ballads. My biggest concern about the game is that the world sometimes feels empty and the quests are kind of repetitive. Not many people know about this game because maybe it was marketed bad or because it released along with Skyrim, which is amazingly popular and may have had overshadowed this game. So all in all i really like this game with its mechanics and story , but also with its flaws.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning delivers exactly what it promises: a pitch-perfect fantasy RPG, with visceral, intuitive gameplay that is easy to pick up, difficult to master, wildly flexible and just plain fun, in a way that has yet to be seen in the genre.

This game could have gotten away if it had a better marketing I think. The game is awesome in so many ways that it really deserves a chance. It is set in a fantasy world witch I might add is HUUUGE. The story is really amazing and the side missions in this game and little tasks are almost infinite. There are also many collectibles witch all give you different minor stat boosts. The game looks great though a bit too colorful. For some it may be hard to finish this game because if you complete every quest that is in your way, the game can really drag on. There is an okay selection of weapons and spells and there are many roles for the character to evolve in. If you are in to RPGs PLEASE do try this game. You won't regret it.
