Great game

A highly original tower defense game, great graphics, excellent sound track and highly enjoyable game play. With a nice take on the now traditional tower defense mold, using new angels for the player's view, and incorporating graphics we do not normally associate with such a genre. Toy Soldiers is easily one of the best tower defense games out there, and considering the sheer number of tower defense games available that is not an easy accomplishment. Altogether a highly satisfying purchase, worth every penny.

A 3D playable board game

Toy Soldiers: Complete is a fun and challenging strategy style game that also allows an action oriented player to jump in and do the work themselves. The game is best described as a tower defense game, one that looks like a 3D Risk or other military based board game. The complete version spans from WWI style equipment through to the modern day, and is varied and looks great. On a side note, performance isn't 100%, as some small slowdowns may occur, especially in the air. The game doles out a money amount for destroyed enemies, which in turn you must use to build defensive positions to prevent enemies from breaking through your lines to attack your "toy box." Let too many enemies through, and the level is over. Enemies come in waves, and after setting up your defense, you can personally take control of a turret, aircraft or tank to take on the advancing units yourself. This isn't mandatory, but provides a fun twist on your typical defense or strategy game. Boss fights are brutal and can be very difficult, and advancing through a campaign is addicting. In the end, Toy Soldiers is simple, easy fun that never gets too deep but is a great way to pass the time.

Toy soldiers is a pretty good game, when i first heard about this game I though it was kinda childish, but it is not, not at all. The graphics are really good and the sound tracks are amazing. The gameplay has been made pretty well,at the beginning it was a little hard to get used to it but after a while you find it pretty easy. The DLC have been done really well and they are worth the extramoney. Worth full price!
