Nice plot, twisted puzzles

Post Mortem is an adventure that ultimately deserves to be played. The atmosphere is, intrigue as well. There is a femme fatale who tells it not right, there is a medium with a lot of fluffy dog in her arms, there is a doctor with some wheel out of place, the inspector is a bit 'slow on the uptake, c 'is the bartender in the eye and along the cop-detective who risk losing your skin, there is a chicken in danger and his friend with hands-on, well ... there is something for everyone! The plot is not very original but it is exciting enough and much resembles those thrillers that on TV now no longer pass. In conclusion I would say that with a little 'extra effort, especially on the top puzzles, some rather twisted, you could have a small masterpiece in his hands, but beyond this Post Mortem is still an experience.

Did not live up to its potential

This game has a interesting storyline and a lot of potential especially due to the ability of the player to make choices about how to approach the game. Unfortunately it fell short of its potential and became a confusing game with illogical puzzles.

exhausting game with a lack of polish and poorly done story

My main complaint is a general lack of polish that ruined it for me. The concept of being able to follow multiple paths both in conversation and in how you choose to approach the game was very poorly done and sometimes confusing. I found several of the puzzles to be contrived and illogical and it was very easy to become tired of playing. It had an interesting storyline and a lot of potential that it unfortunately fell short of reaching.

Old School Game

Post Mortem was a game i played a few years back. And it didn't impressed me one bit. Mainly the story component is not very strong and is traditional crime investigation. We solve puzzles by collecting evidence and talking to various NPC. NPCs themselves are not very engaging and after a while it all becomes stale and boring. The core mechanics of the game are alright and there are multiple endings. If you are a fan of CSI or other detective/investigation games. Post Mortem might interest you. Fans of the genre will appreciate its current low price.

Decent, but not the greatest in the genre.

If you like investigation games, this may interest you. This game does not have many puzzles or anything to solve though, and seems to be more of a story driven adventure that you are put in to. I found this in a bargain bin at a store years back, and at the time I thought the graphics were decent. They are probably a bit dated now though. This isn't your typical adventure/investigation game, but if this is your preferred genre, it may be worth picking up.
