This game is fantastic. It looks great and it plays great. There's a good difficulty curve, something very important in puzzle games. The presentation is very good and polished, you can see the developers put a great effort in this game. The mechanics are quite simple and straightforward, but the variety of levels is outstanding, with a high amount of levels. As you progress more and more level mechanics appear, like tiles that collapse the 1st or 2nd time you cross then, tiles that make you jump, water that pulls you and many more. All in all, one of the best puzzle games I've played.
Charming, Challenging Puzzle GameBrumbek | Dec. 29, 2012 | See all Brumbek's reviews »
Wow, this is an amazingly polished and charming puzzle game! Not only does it have some fun (and hard) platforming puzzles, but it has a very endearing story to boot. The storybook cutscenes with great voice acting really kept my interest. And the puzzles reminded me of the old classic GameBoy Pyramids of Ra. Likewise, the art design is fabulous and the 3D graphics are crisp and detailed. I highly recommend this game to all the intellectual explorers out there! This game won’t win many awards but for a low price it delivers really, really memorable experiences. It is sort of like the cartoony puzzle version of Uncharted.

Hamilton's Great Adventure is one of the more lighthearted and fun puzzle games out there. It is a coop oriented game, where focus is on two players solving puzzles together in a variety of environments. Game makes a very funny mockery of Indiana Jones with funny little characters and cute art style. Puzzles range from action oriented puzzles to traditional 'wait and solve' kind of puzzles. A wonderful art design and lovely graphics make the whole experience a memorable one. A game is a bit short but has immense replay value due to abundance of extra collectibles and unlockables. A great fun game for all the puzzle genre fans.

Another awesome looking game from Fatshark. If you're into puzzle games, do yourself a favor and try this. Cute cartoon-styled graphics, ability to play with a friend on the same computer, a lot of collectibles to keep you busy if you are a completionist, leaderboards, overall a great game that you should play. Too bad there isn't some kind of an editor, the way the levels are designed yells for one. Also, keep in mind that it's a Windows Vista/7 only game. That's the only reason it took me quite a while before i get my hands on it, i had to upgrade to Windows 7 first. Hopefully it was worth the waiting.

I don't know about these Swedish video game developers, but man, they make great games! From DICE, Avalanche Studios, Frictional Games, Massive Ent, Coffee Stain Studios, you name it, they make excellent games/gems! Now Fatshark the developers of Lead & Gold (which is a great game) has done it again, but with the casual gamers. So pass on this if you're excepting this game to be a core game. While playing Hamilton's Great Adventure, i can't help but to be amazed by the quality of the game. It has amazing smooth solid graphics (like Lead & Gold), great music, sound and very fun yet challenging gameplay. It's a casual puzzle game with depth, it has stats, collectibles, unlockables and a story. The length is average and i have yet to try the local co-op because us PC gamers don't share lol. I don't play much casual puzzle games so i can't compare this to any other game, but for what it does, it does it very well. An excellent game at an excellent price.

I have to say, I really like the cartoony style of this game. Especially the over sized body and a clear mockery of Indiana Jones. Level design looks amazing and really polished and being able to play with my friend is a huge plus. Whats better than a cheat in a puzzle game? Two brains! While I don't agree that this is very "addicting" like WoW, it is good fun for buddies if your bored. So if your looking for a change of pace in gaming, try this.
