Classic...
newn | Aug. 6, 2011 | See all newn's reviews »It's a strange sequel to Divine Divinity. A lot it is the same as in there, also it reminds me Neverwinter Nights too. The story is great, same as a lot of other old games. You can't compare this to many current games. It is also a hard game, I am a hardcore gamer and I used to die A LOT compared to most other games. Another great thing is that there's a lot of humor in this game. Both in dialogues, quests, environment... Everything. I can really say no bad thing about this game. Graphics is great as an old game's, sounds are very cool too. Mechanics are okay compared to every other game. I truly cannot think of a bad thing!
So I think that it's really worth buying, it will occupy you for few 10s of hours.

Of course, there are things that time can never change : story and gameplay. One of the best game has ever released. You should try this classic, yet great hack and slash game.

satyakun | May 25, 2011 | See all satyakun's reviews »This game is an old one, but it's still a great game when released. With a good looking 2D graphics, this game probably run smoothly in your computer now. The gameplay itself is looks like another game on its genre. Your enemy is creature from underworld -skeleton, necromancer, and more- will make it an enjoyable for you who like Hack and slash game.

Living in the shadow of its older sibling.
GAMERamble | April 11, 2011 | See all GAMERamble's reviews »I was a huge fan of Divine Divinity and really looked forward to Beyond Divinity. While there is a lot about the game that is still familiar it does not quite live up to expectations. The storyline is interesting with your character bound to a Death Knight. Of course neither the Death Knight or your character is impressed with this turn of events and together you set out to solve this problem.
If you play games for the awesome graphics then the visuals in Beyond Divinity won't impress you. If you like a long, challenging quest filled with plenty of humor then you won't be disappointing. If you have never played Beyond Divinity then I would suggest you do so first (although it is not necessary as the stories are not linked) but make Beyond Divinity your second choice.

Classic.
keeveek | April 5, 2011 | See all keeveek's reviews »Rembember Divine Divinity? It's the sequel. To be honest, it's not as good as it's older brother, but still fun to play. Your protagonist is bound by soul to your darker self. Now, youll be togheter till death unites you (in soil). Game mechanics are rather simple, but very enjoyable. The best part of the game is it's humour. Many funny quests and dialogues will put a smile on your face for entire gameplay. If you don't have a sense of humor - don't touch this gem! Graphics are simple and 2D but still nice - this game is aging with dignity.
