"MouseCraft is a fun game, but the difficulty seems to skew a bit on the easy side with the ability to pause mid-level and undo any action. Still, unlocking new obstacles every few stages keeps things fresh, and going for perfect levels will force you to stop and think about how to do things--as opposed to just laying a few blocks and calling it a day." -

"If you’re a fan of puzzle games, don’t miss Crunching Koalas’ brilliant remix. MouseCraft drops you into a series of challenges that will initially make you feel like a mouse trapped in a maze. But after working your way through these environments, you’ll feel like a mad scientist who can’t be stopped." -

Nice puzzle game

Mousecraft is very similar to Tetris puzzle's, using the same style block's, only with a twist. You get a set amount of different blocks to use and you must place them in a way so the mice can get to the cheese with out killing them. You also must try and collect the crystals as well. As you progress through the puzzles, you earn more blocks, being different types, jelly blocks for the softer landing's and bomb block's to blow stuff up and many more. There is also Achievements to be earned as well. The game has just been updated and finished so this is very good news. I have enjoyed playing Mousecraft and the little mice are very cute, if you like puzzle type games, I'm sure you'll like this little gem. :)

Cat's experiments puzzle these hungry mice

spectatorx | Sept. 26, 2014 | See all spectatorx's reviews »

Mad cat-scientist, three mice and various types of tetronimo blocks. Beginning is very simple, you are learning how experiments and their basic elements work but after some time it is becoming mindblowing and trial-and-error thing. You will be replaying some levels for many times to complete them in 100%. Every time you replay some level you find out new path to complete it. Game is nicely animated, has nice music, not much story but story itself is ok, not bad, not groundbreaking. One of positive things is that the game works on Windows, Linux and MacOS X as well. Also level editor is available so you can challenge yourself and your friends with levels created by you, do not forget to share them ;-)

More of a puzzler than platformer

michalmichal | Jan. 17, 2014 | See all michalmichal's reviews »

It might seem that Mousecraft is just another platformer. And yes, it really looks like one, but in fact it's more of a puzzle game, in which your brain will be as busy (if not busier) as your fingers. The game merges some concepts known from other games like Tetris and Lemmings. The whole thing is about creating a safe passage for your mouse, but there will be puzzles that you need to solve to open the passage and clear the way. You can also pay some attention to quite amusing and fun background story, which will lead you through the game, even though it's not necessary it still adds to the overall experience.

Absolutely MAD Puzzle + Platformer!

Sciazs | Dec. 23, 2013 | See all Sciazs's reviews »

What do you get when you fuse two of the most famous puzzler games in history? Take Tetris and Lemmings, breed them and you get this insane puzzle platformer glory child that is Mousecraft. This is an absolute must for any puzzle and/or platformer aficionado. Imagine Tetris but on a horizontal scale. You take blocks and Tetris style them along the stage to create a safe path for yourself to complete the stage. The puzzles that the game gives you are creatively challenging and enamouring and does not fail to keep you entertained for hours on end. If that's not enough, you can even create your own level on the map editor. Be a puzzle master and challenge your friends to tackle your puzzles and at the same time they could reciprocate this sentiment. Great value for one of the most fun puzzle games I have played in a decade.
