While no game of perfect, the total value of these high quality games combined is more than enough to grant this collection a 100 rating. Especially if you wait for a sale, the 'profit' in games you'll be getting for the money you pay is simply astounding. The pack consists mainly of FPS titles, seeing as that's the genre Valve specializes in, but that shouldn't discourage gamers who are mostly interested in other genres. These are basically some of the best games out there (at least, among modern games, give or take a half life 1 or team fortress classic), so regardless of your preferences you should give them a try. There's no other valve collection where you'll be getting more bang for your buck, but in case you want to customize your purchase a bit more, there's other smaller collections available for purchase (still, you should highly consider buying this one and perhaps giving/selling the keys for the games you're not so interested in to your friends or random internet strangers). One can summarily analyze each of the series of games in this collection, but I think it would be better to trust the word of the millions of valve fans that made their voice heard (I'm particularly referring to the popularity of a certain series, which inspired a certain internet meme - and no, I'm not referring to the cake one, though it's close) and try these amazing games for yourself. You definitely won't regret it!

Have you ever tough about a Bundle with all The Masterpieces from valve together for a good price, that is what i'm talking about:,L4D,Portal,TFC,DoD,Cs,Half-life(and Ricochet), it is worth every cent, i've bought almost every valve game separately and i can say they are the funniest, most beautiful, well designed, developed and programmed games i've ever seen. The title says it all. This is collection of some of Valve's most iconic games and honestly some of the most iconic FPS in gaming. Portal, Half-life, TF, CS, L4D. These are great games. I don't really need to go pros of each game because these are recognized classics. That being said, I bought when it was on sale for $25 and I understand that $100 is a lot just buy itself. But realize that you will being getting a lot of bang for your buck if you purchase it at full price. If you do catch it on sale, you'll be getting explosions for your buck. Essentially if it's on sale, get like Fry and be like "shut up and take my money" because this is well worth it.
BEWARE IF INTENDING TO ACTIVATE AND THEN GIFT!nsykes | July 23, 2015 | See all nsykes's reviews »
I just bought this due to the very low price and activated the key. My intention was to fill in the few games I didn't have, and then gift the games I already owned to friends. Well, Steam has different ideas and will simply absorb the key without providing you gift copies of any games, including the very few it says you are entitled to in its help documentation. Their policy sucks, so beware. If gifting, just tell your friend the key you receive from GMG. Im also upset with GMG for not making it clear in the product info page, even though their sale price is really great. The bundle itself is full of classics.
Absolutely great!SonjaVB | July 22, 2015 | See all SonjaVB's reviews »
This is the best bundle available on Steam! You should really get it while it's on sale, this price is very good! It combines some of the (if not the) best games on Steam. If you like FPS games (Counter-Strike, HL), zombie survival (L4D), some more puzzle based games (Portal) and many others in one great package! Absolutely magnificent!
