Rich with storyline choices in both main and subplots, this grand open world is influenced by the player unlike ever before.
The Witcher 3 is a masterclass in open-world game design – Geralt of Rivia is back in his biggest adventure to date. I've already ploughed well over 100 hours into the game, and I'm certain that its vast array of side quests, narrative branches, moral quandaries, and epic loot will lure me back in for another 100 at least.
It's a gorgeous game, though worn-torn Temeria is as brutal as it is beautiful, stuffed with plenty of opportunities for a magical mercenary like Geralt. There's much to be said for leaping onto the back of your horse and romping around the countryside as a medieval ghostbuster of sorts, but it's in the superbly written quests, and the characters they affect that the game finds its emotional soul.
Ratchet up the difficulty level and revel in the game's tactical combat, the oils and potions required to fight as a true Witcher, and make your mark on this expansive world just waiting to be saved.

Well worth the Hype
unpopularbird | March 14, 2016 | See all unpopularbird's reviews »The hype was worth it, and more. A morally grey world with the best quests ever made in a game. It is officially the best video game I have ever played in my life. It will stick with me forever. The best story I've ever seen in a game and it rivals even Lord of the Rings for books and movies. It has amazing graphics, and continues to impress as you crank it to 1600p and ultra everything. The most innovative and intriguing thing about the game is that decisions you make matter (without a simple good/evil bar), and often you will not know the extent of your decisions for hours or even tens of hours (none of this "so and so will remember that" from Telltale games and none of the simple and obvious good/bad choices of almost every other game ever. It also has fantastic setting and lore, which pays lots of fan service to Witcher 2 fans (like me) but is absolutely accessible to people who never played either other game (like my wife). Finally, it is just plain ridiculously fun and never got old even after 135 hours. Yes, it is a bit clunky to control (but only out of combat), the swimming is atrociously bad, the inventory cannot be sorted, and some other minor issues as well. But when you absolutely nail every other part of your game, it just doesn't matter.

Put the Bad back into A**!
stiggle | Feb. 17, 2016 | See all stiggle's reviews »I can't believe you are even looking at reviews!? :( Seriously! This game is the trilogy of an epic series. ((I suggest you read the book(s))) Just to break it down for a spell. You are Geralt, A strapping young/old man looking for his long lost Waifu, or waifus(if you don't like being held down to one waifu. ((you slydog you!)) and his waifu daughter. There are many challenges along the way, such as monster, people; even other WiFi hunters. Before you ask. They may or may not be after your Waifus. Do you like spells? Witcher 3 has them! Do you like fluid combat? Yep Witcher 3 has that! Do you like coming up with complicated schemes, and plots to mutilate your enemies? Witcher 3 can help you with that!!! DON'T forget about your Waifus

Witcher 3: Just Excellent
hotmando | Feb. 16, 2016 | See all hotmando's reviews »This game without a doubt is one of the best. There is a reason it won so many GOTY awards. First, the environment is excellent because of how it is crafted. The trees and grass shift back and forth as the wind blows. This is something you don't see in most games. The combat becomes easier and easier as you level due to fixed enemy levels. I personally think the side quest concerning the Baron outshines the main storyline itself. If a side quest can outshine the main storyline, that by itself speaks to Witcher 3's masterful story crafting. Thusly, I recommend Witcher 3.

Hugest and Best game i have ever played.
CutterEye | Feb. 12, 2016 | See all CutterEye's reviews »What can i say more? Everything has been told about this game already. Graphics are amazing, locations are really alive with full content, story it's amazing, soundtrack is superb, and combat with slavic music it's so awesome and unique. About combat, this is the most improved part of game from previous Witcher games, it's not boring anymore and finally give you a reason to use your Signs(magic). Witcher 3 also have the most amazing mini card-game Gwent, this minigame it can be even a separate game itself and still worth to play.. and Geralt can finally jump hah. Overall i recomend this game for everyone who love RPG's

What a modern RPG should be
bullkrieg | Jan. 23, 2016 | See all bullkrieg's reviews »I loved the witcher 2 so I was super excited to play the witcher 3 upon release. While I was a little disappointed in the combat seeming a little less complex than in the witcher 2, the story and amount of in depth quests and lore more than made up for it. I was glued to the story throughout my playthrough, even side quests have amazing amounts of care put into them. Voice work is done extremely well, you get totally sucked into the world, super immersive, you feel like you are there. Highly recommend. Oh also the graphics are incredible, also boobs :-P
