Not as good as past Silent Hill games but still fun and scary
akassassinn1 | Nov. 29, 2015 | See all akassassinn1's reviews »Silent Hill Homecoming is another installment of the critically acclaimed survival horror series that keeps you looking over your shoulder and keeps you on your toes, combat and movement are fluid and responsive but some enemies are super annoying and almost impossible to avoid or keep your distance from (mainly bugs) , there are quick time events and button mash sequences but they are far in between , environments are super creepy and very very dark , so it's imperative that you check every corner when looking for clues so you don't get stuck , I don't recommend raising the brightness settings because it distracts from the experience, there are few bugs here n there like invisible walls and clipping issues, the game is also very linear and it doesn't look that amazing , but there's some good attention given to detail. it's worth a try if you want some scares and if you're a fan of the series it's not all that bad to have in your Silent Hill collection.
