Thanks to the amazing feedback from the community, IDOL HANDS gets its first major update which is now LIVE and includes the following:
The implementation of WASD and arrow keys for moving forward, backward, left and right. You will also still be able to use the left mouse button to drag the landscape if you desire.
The ability to zoom the camera in/out using the mouse wheel or the -/= keys.
The ability to press the right mouse button to rotate camera but now with the added ability to use the more traditional conventions of moving the mouse left/right.
The ability to skip the initial start-up videos by pressing any key.
The ability to skip each of the four tutorials using a Skip button.
The addition of the following extra key mappings for using with the WASD keys (previous key mappings will still also work):
o 1 = Rain
o 2 = Lightning
o 3 = Earthquake
o 4 = Meteor
o 5 = Volcano
o Z = Lower Land
o X = Flatten Land
o C = Raise Land
Idol Hands is a strategy game where you gradually take over the world by guiding your people and defeating other gods.
You are a god in a time of many gods. Rather than having direct control over your people’s actions, your people will live their own lives; placing buildings, growing crops, and micro managing themselves.
Without you, your people are directionless!
Your powers will provide them with usable land, protect them from attack, and control nature to their benefit.
With your help they can grow and prosper; allowing them to increase the bounty of their harvests, and learn skills to eventually forming an immense fighting force that you can unleash upon your enemy’s population to wipe them out, leaving any other god powerless and defeated.

Good Concept But...
TheForgery | Jan. 5, 2016 | See all TheForgery's reviews »Unlike most other Real-Time Strategy games, Idol Hands makes players literally feel like gods with the ability to control the weather and summon disasters. The environment is also dynamic, changing from every decision made. Unfortunately, that's all the game has to offer as it does not offer anything else new in concept and is too limited by it. There's no way to control the people to ensure their survival, nor really "communicate" with them. Also, after experimenting with the weather and disaster controls, Idol Hands becomes repetitive, which is what the other two reviews (at this time) say. I am neutral on the graphics, some may say it's subpar or say it's decent but I find them still appealing nonetheless. In conclusion, I give this game a C- for having a good gaming concept but more content and gameplay elements would have helped Idol Hands to achieve higher ratings.

If that us not your forte, you can also train "your humans" to do whatever you want! it's time consuming, down-right unethical, and a lot of fun! Pick it up and be your own God today!

Kinda repetitive

There's lack of missions, characters and control. The voice acting is kinda shaky. But the good thing is the terrain control is alright. I wouldn't recommend this game badly to anyone. But if anyone wants to play the game they should at least try it out. It's a fun game to play !
