Description

Might & Magic Heroes VII (commonly shortened to MMH7) is an upcoming turn-based strategy game in the Heroes of Might and Magic series. The game will take place some 200 years after the events of Shades of Darkness, and ten years after the assassination of the Holy Empress Maeve Falcon (i.e. another 100 years before Heroes V).

Gameplay will follow similar tactics found within the Heroes of Might and Magic series. Strategy is a key to the gameplay as battles are structured to a chess like board where each player controls a faction of units.

Skip it if youre not a Huuuuge fan of homm series

Even if you are a huuuge fan ,you may still want to skip it. it is buggy, better than at release though for sure, but still some huge bugs such as necro campaign. it's playable overall though. The skirmish maps "non-campaign" are very limited in number, under 20. not too many fan created maps have been made yet. the cutscenes are very very poorly done. the story line is very MEH at best. The good: The skill wheel seems like a fun idea. although it could and should be redone and fixed. some things are very stupid or out of balance though. they got rid of the dynasty crap from 6, thats fantastic. i still play it and like it but i wish there was more content. ipicked up for 28.99 i the VIP section a while ago. i've thrown around 40 hours into it. i'd say if youre on the fence and still want to play it, grab it for under 20-15 bucks and you should find it worth it at that price point. purchase it for anything more and it'll be disappointing .

Might and Magic Heroes 7 is a turn-based tactic game where you and your opponent take turns trying to have their minions kill each other. The story is passable, but if you do have not played other Might and Magic games, you will be very lost. Actually, many of the systems require the player to be well versed, or at least somewhat versed, in previous Might and Magic games. Most of what you see in Might and Magic Heroes 7 will be the same, or at least similar to what you see in other turn-based tactic games. There are systems that allow you develop your skills and minions, combat is pretty much the same, but all that there is to set this game apart from other turn-based tactic games is the setting and characters, which will work better if you are a fan of the Might and Magic series. If you are a longtime fan of Might and Magic, buy this game. If not, only this if you want to get into the Might and Magic series. Otherwise this game might not be for you.
