Bioshock infinite is an amazing game. You will find no other like it. At the beginning of the game, you are instantly greeted with a city in the sky. This makes the player extremely interested and gives an amazing effect. The gameplay mechanics are solid, like the health and shield upgrades, and there are a variety of weapons to be used by the player. The storyline is very unique and there is no other game with a storyline as good as it. The game gives you a solid 10 hours of gameplay at the least, but can be A LOT higher if the player is curious and plays it more than once. This game is worth it!

It's Pretty Good

As a Bioshock game it is certainly a different taste. I was used to the very spooky and underwaterness of the originals, and this was a pleasant change. Going from below sea level to above the ground is amazing! Full of different things, even though I wish they had a callback to the original plasmids. Overall a great game and a great buy, verry worth whatever price it sits at.

Fantastic Inception Simulator

This game is absolutely fantastic, and the inception parallel is mostly a joke. The ending seriously throws you for one of those standard "what the hell is going on" loops for a bit, as it warps between different dimensions and time travel, but it is masterfully written and overall very well done. The combat is fun, the mechanics are solid and the storyline is not the greatest, but is extremely enjoyable. Definitely a solid buy for anyone who enjoys FPS or RPG.

Bioshock Infinite is an amazing game! The original Bioshock has set the standards real high, and this game had to beat them, and it did with flying colors. The city of Columbia is beautiful at day and night, and the graphics in general are really nice. The gameplay is amazing, and the way the guns feel is smooth and fun. The story is top notch, and will leave you stunned for quite some time. I recommend buying this game if you are a fan of Bioshock, or if you like a good shooter with an amazing story. This game is worth every dollar.

Great story with unfitting gameplay

Murderbot735 | July 14, 2015 | See all Murderbot735's reviews »

This game's story is brilliant and I loved it. Columbia must be the most beautiful city I have ever seen in any medium. But I do find it very strange how Booker DeWitt brutally rips people apart with his mechanical claw-hand thing, makes their heads explode with lightning and set them on fire. I think the combat is fun and all that, but it just doesn't fit the story. Especially not considering how the thing he wants to do is "bring us the girl and wipe away the debt". If the army of an entire city isn't a threat to him, then why does he need to wipe away a petty "debt". Can't he just kill the people he's in debt to? This game would have been much better if it wasn't an action FPS. The developers kinda tried to point out how brutal Booker was by making Elizabeth seem shocked at first of his actions, but she did quickly adapt and seemed to have really fun killing her dad's men. As I said, I think the combat was fun with a lot of different abilities and that flying-rail thing, but it did really take away from the story. Except of that I have no complaints, except the fucking "Handymans" who were a pain in the ass at the "High" difficulty.
