This is by some distance the best episode in the series. It has some nice locations and story developments, including a few flashbacks which give some background info on the two main characters. The locations are more varied and some are really wonderfully drawn, but the main plus is a real increase in the quality of the puzzles. They are harder than those in the first episode, but a lot better, and offer great satisfaction when completed. It's also a bit shorter by my appreciation, but it should offer you an entertaining 3 or 4 hours solving puzzles and discovering the characters.

In Adam's Venture Episode 2: Solomon's Secret, a sequel to The Search for the Lost Garden, we experience the same kind of gameplay as in the previous game.
We get the same kind of puzzles, the same (mediocre) kind of characters and the same quality of dialogues. It's not high praise to be sure, but it shouldn't discourage a fan of adventure games who has time for another game of this kind. There is less action gameplay in this game, this time it is more about puzzles and story. If these were a bit better, the game could be quite good, just like its visual side, which looks pretty nice to say the truth.
Fortunately the price is quite low, so you're not risking too much money, especially if you like adventure games.
