Horrible port!

Shaide | Feb. 15, 2015 | See all Shaide's reviews »

A horrible port of a mediocre game! It's basically a 2D Side scroller(with 3D graphics). The game tries hard, but fails to impress Arkham fans.

The arkham games are known for their open world, and allowing you to feel what it's like to be the batman! This thing? Very Linear! No real exploration, and just a bad experience all around.

Little bat is sleeping... someone finish him off

Pit_52 | Dec. 8, 2014 | See all Pit_52's reviews »

This game is not good... Only for maniacs of a batman arkham series. Gameplay is hidious, some strange 2,5D not precised and having worst cutscenes i saw in video game history. It's so bad and ugly game, worth to play only for a storyline and nothing more. I made through the game, but it was painful, not entertaining, placing this game as a really horrible experience. They just shouldn't made that tittle, or made a comic book, visual novel, movie, slideshow, or normal 3d game like Arkham Origins/Asylum/City, not this... That one is just a catastrofy, if you starving for another portion of Bruce adventure and you accepting the terms of that game it's ok, as a plot is good in some ways but as a gameplay it's embarassment for the franchise, they just served that story in really bad way. Buy, launch, play (or at least try) and ... just let it go. Best solution in my private opinion.

How Batman Met His Love

2.5D sequel of Batman Arkham Origins is an excellent addition to the Batman Arkham series. The game continues B:AO story and also allows us to see the first appearance of Catwoman in Batman's life. Gameplay has 2.5D features but it feels very and very good. For true fans B:AO Blackgate will be an excellent opportunity to return back to Gotham and put on Batman's suit.

Just for true Arkham fans

If you are expecting some kind of innovative gameplay, I'm sorry to dissapoint you. But if you want to know more about the world of Batman Arkham series, this is your game.

You can play as Batman in a 2.5D world , because this game is a port of the PSVita and 3DS versions.

I got this game on a deal, so I'm giving it a 75. Nice game, but it needed more improvements.

Fantastic PC port of a PSVita game, perhaps the best

spycid | April 14, 2014 | See all spycid's reviews »

If you are a batman fan like me and don't have a PS Vita, then this game is a must for you. For the first time you can control Batman in a 2.5D world.

The core element remains the same, only the open world idea vanishes. The game does not fail to deliver. For a handheld console game, the game does a very good job both in terms of gameplay and graphics.

This is the best deal out there. What are you waiting for if you consider yourself a batman fan?
