Short but sweet

The Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 - Revelations DLC is a short but still satisfying DLC to LOS:2. In it you will play as Alucard, and move through the story a short time before the events of the main game.

Alucard is a cool character, and while not greatly varied, still different enough in powers and abilities to make this interesting. The various replacements for Bat Swarm, daggers, etc. give this DLC a more puzzle/platformer based feel.

Combat is a little more difficult with Alucard's lesser range and speed. I found it to be fun having the increased challenge. Unlike the main game though, there are only a couple of character bosses and this content has more puzzles and areas to navigate. Enemies are identical to the main game as well.

A quick playthrough of this is only about 1.5 hours, and a complete run maybe 3-4. It's still worth it though for major fans of the Lords of Shadow series.
