I have mixed feelings - the content is good (in context of the game universe) - but I got it after finishing much of the base game. So, it was a lot of back-tracking to do things I had done before. And the rewards where pointless, since I had way surpassed their usefulness. Feels like it was just stripped from base game so that it could be sold as DLC.

Darksiders II: Death Rides DLC is not really a good additional content for Darksiders 2 because it only adds some new quest to the game. These side quest are quite boring and repetitive because they require only to go around the game world to recover some items or killing some enemies. There is nothing original in these new side quests

Firstly I should start out by saying that I simply loved Darksiders 2. A lot. And I enjoyed Argul's Tomb to a fair ammount(not the best, but pretty ok). So moving on to Death Rides. It contains 3 side-quests, all of which are awful. You get two fetch quests in Forge Lands, which are the same as the ones in the main game. The other quest is just stupid - you have to find the invisible creatures which you may've seen in the game before. But without a FAQ or a guide you are doomed to just lurk around for hours not finding anything. Death Rides is a shameful attempt at making the main game longer but it's just bad.
