The way multiplayer shooters used to bemahon | Dec. 5, 2013 | See all mahon's reviews »
Now, as of late 2013, Deathmatch Classic is surely an old game. With so many multiplayer shooters available it is not an obvious choice for most gamers. I would still recommend it to people who either feel nostalgic and sentimental about the games of early 2000s or who have never had a chance to experience gaming in that period and would like to feel what games were like back then. Now Deathmatch Classic feels rusty and simple, but back then it was much fun. Still you can have some fun with this game if you have a bunch of oldshool-loving friends. But surely it's not a game for the same people who expect state-of-the-art games and next-gen visuals.
