Requires Dishonored (base game) to use this DLC

In Dishonored: The Knife of Dunwall take on the role of Daud, the legendary assassin who killed the Empress. This second add-on pack for the award-winning first person action game from Arkane Studios gives you a new perspective on Daud, and access to his weapons, gadgets, allies and supernatural abilities.

After assassinating the Empress, and forever changing the fate of Dunwall, you embark on a search for redemption. The Outsider reveals the key to your atonement, but who—or what—is Delilah? Accompanied by the Whalers, your loyal band of mercenary assassins, your search will take you through never-before-seen districts of Dunwall as you face off against new and terrible foes. Employ a unique arsenal that enhances Dishonored’s dynamic combat, mobility and stealth systems. In the struggle to hang onto the last shred of your humanity, the choices you make will ultimately determine your fate.

Key Features:

  • New Powers, Weapons and Gadgets The mark of the Outsider empowers you with unique supernatural abilities. Call upon the Whalers to assist in combat with ‘Summon Assassin’, track down hidden Runes and Bone Charms with ‘Void Gaze’ and learn to use new variations to powers, including ‘Blink’. To aid in your dangerous exploits your customized arsenal of weapons and gadgets will include Chokedust to daze your enemies, whale oil powered Stun Mines to shock your targets, and a concealed Wristbow to launch sleep darts and explosive bolts.

  • Explore More of Dunwall Make your way through the Legal District and infiltrate the Rothwild Slaughterhouse, a steaming factory filled with colossal whale carcasses and their hulking butchers. Revisit the decaying Flooded District, the location of Daud’s hidden base, first seen in the original game. Return to the scenes of key events in Dishonored with a new perspective, including the fateful moment that sets off Corvo’s journey.

  • Choose Your Path On your search for answers, approach each mission with your own style. Your redemption – or your turn towards darkness – depends on your skills and the decisions you make. Discover the mystery behind Delilah in this stand-alone chapter, and then conclude Daud’s story in the upcoming final add-on, The Brigmore Witches.

Amazing, just amazing!

I was never sold on the idea of DLC, it always felt like leftover ideas and hand-me-downs and cashing in. But this title showed me that I can be wrong this was obviously a case where the developers were utterly teeming with ideas and were on the peak of their skills and just kept on make more and more of the exceptional game.

Except, the story is much better! And the new way blink works is better, it's somehow better than my favourite game ever! How could this occur?!

So I'm sold on DLCs now, so long as they are done as well as lovingly as this!

Very good DLC

This is yet another brillinat piece of DLC for the game called Dishonored. The base game of Dishonored received world wide critical acclaim and this DLC continues this trade with good reviews all over game review sites and this is for good reason. This DLC adds lots of new game play and content. You play as another assassin and you travel around completing various and varied missions. This DLC adds to the already very good story line that drove the game in Dishonored. The DLC uses the same, great mechanics from the original Dishonored game and it is extremely well scripted with the dialogue making you feel so immersed in the world

Very short, but very worth it

3 more missions are added which follows the story of Daud. It's worth mentioning that the main character is not silent which is kind of strange, and I personally did not like but others have. What is really great is that this truly feels like a story of redemption which in my opinion is a lot greater than the main Dishonored story. Daud gets an expanded arsenal of new gadgets and modified ability and it feels great. If you enjoyed the gameplay of the Dishonored story line, then you should definitely buy this DLC. On sale, it can get as low as 1.74. Also, it's the first part of a series, the second (and final) part is known as the Brigmore witches, which I personally have not bought, but I've heard that it's just as good as this DLC.

Excellent add-on to great game

The base game is basically the same original Dishonored, but this DLC adds a whole new story campaign and cool new weapons, powers and a new playable character, Daud. The story is really interesting as it tells that a lot of things happened around Corvo that never was mentioned in the original game. This adds more depth into the Dishonored universe.

If you liked the original game, you're probably going to like this.

Upgrading the base game

This DLC improves upon the excellent Dishonored giving us a much more interesting story and at the same time keeps the great level design of the base game. The new powers and weapons are a welcomed addition and they are carried to the final DLC!
