Keeping up after 10 years

Being the last chapter of LoK by story, it doesn't disappoint at all. Obviously, the story is full of connections to the previous games, which you have to play so you can understand anything. Now, you can play as both main characters - Kain and Raziel, switching between them as the story progresses. For a game made in 2003, the music still holds a good standard, while the graphics are made in a decent way. Gameplay is similar to "kill'em all" and you might find some artifacts to enhance your character. Controls are pretty easy to handle, but the only con is the trolling camera. Overall, it deserves a 9/10 for the time it was made and the time.

Defy the tyrannous stars

This is the final chapter of the Legacy of Kain saga. As expected, the story is great. It's filled with twists and connections to the other games (even Blood Omen 2 which you must do in order to understand everything). This time, you play Kain and Raziel, switching between those two during the story. The game takes the form of a beat'em all similar to God of War. You travel through linear levels and defeats lots of enemies. Your characters become stronger by collecting special artefact. There are also puzzles. The graphics are decent and the music is, as usual, fantastic. The only problem is that the camera might be a little unreliable during some sequences. Oh and while it is a fun game overall, I don't recommend to play it before the other episodes.

Great game . If you are ceeping with Legacy of kain series . At first I was a little frustrated by the camera ,but with time I get use to it . The story line is Superb . There are many unpredictable twists and thurns ,for you get the chanse to fight both Kain and Raziel . And again Kain and Raziel fight for dominion over destiny . DEsperetly surching for a new path , for a choise , to breake the promised future . It's a interesting concept to fight agenst destiny for free will . LOK relegate with the medieval princip of the two swords of power . The one in the hand of the king , the other in the hand of the pope .... Great idea .... The grapihc is realy greate better than the previous series . The new battle system is also vrey fun for you can lift enemies , and kick their asses in the air .

The game does have a great story it's more evil then the original game. The graphics are good, for the time the game was made. The fighting is great, the controls are easy to learn and the animations are nice. The game is aggressive there is alot of blood. A big downside it the camera, the camera view isn't really good. The game also does have alot of hidden objects, I had to search for 15 minutes to find a hidden object.

This game story and combat are pretty good. But this game lacks difrent setting, its pretty boring to be in 1 Giant castle the whole game.. and the camera going crazy from time to time which can be annoying as hell! Despite those 2 things this game worth a 8/10.
