I may be a tad biased on this because I prefer the latter portion of the Harry Potter story. I legitimately had more fun with this game than the one before it. Despite the more serious tone the movies take, the game still has quite a few great comedic moments. it works well with what it's given, being light-hearted enough, but upping the drama when necessary. Grade-A lego game.

This game is simply amazing. The amazing soundtrack seamlessly blends with the visual style that the last four movies took, incorporated into LEGO form. The gameplay is LEGO gameplay at its finest. The graphics make the game seem as though it is the film. There are over 160 characters, in this game, even bringing characters that were featured in the books but not in the movies. The only two gripes I have are that there are fewer playable areas in this game and that the purple random spell section isn't randomized anymore, it is set (but the purple spells can be selected), which takes away the element of surprise from the game. I had so much fun playing this game. Play it!
