It is one of my favorite indies. It is a puzzle game that mixes many other things, like terror and it has a simple but attractive graphics. The story is quite original and the environments are perfect, combining retro and futuristic things. I love the way you discover the story slowly, the difficulty that sometimes takes the game and the tense moments in which you sometimes are involved. I liked and enjoyed it from start to finish and I recommend it to everyone, unless you have heart problems :3

What struck me first about Master Reboot was the unique visual style of the game. It looks unlike anything else I've played. What really struck me were all the jump scares. This game scared me over and over. There's something off everywhere you visit, the music is a bit haunting, and then there's this freaky girl that stalks you throughout the game trying to kill you. I could only play is small chunks of time because of the stress. The story of Master Reboot is set in the future when people can record their memories and store them for their family to visit after they are dead. This is called the Soul Cloud. Something happens and the Soul Cloud crashes. You are sent in to the virtual space to check on the memories. While there, you learn about this person's life and progress further by solving puzzles. The security system of the Soul Cloud is a ghostly little girl who doesn't like you messing around. Not everything about the game is perfect, but it is well worth your time if you enjoy horror games.

I bought Master Reboot on a whim because the graphics seemed very unique and the idea of mucking around inside the memories of people sounded very appealing. What I didn't expect was how creepy the game would be. Between the spooky atmosphere and the "person" that pop-ups from time to time to scare you I jumped quite a few times. The puzzles are a bit easy and the platform jumping towards the end somewhat tedious but don't let that stop you from experiencing this game for yourself.
