"Seems like Renegade Ops is the result of Rambo having a baby with the A-Team." - GameSpy.com
The madman Inferno has detonated a devastating bomb in the middle of a major European city to demonstrate the power of his new weaponized incendiary composition: L.V.A. (Liquid Volatile Amonescence).
Paralyzed from fear of more L.V.A. attacks, the world leaders bow to Inferno’s will and allow him to build an empire without hindrance.

Renegade Ops, is a fantastic experience alone and in coop. The game features a very intuitive targeting system that makes it great to play with a controller.
The pace of the game is perfect, never so intense to tire you and never too slow to bore you.
Technically the game is flawless. The graphics look great and all the effects show great care from the developers. The soundtrack isn't memorable but it gets the job done.
Overall the game is great, while it doesn't revolutionise the genre is so solid that you won't care.

From the creators of the still extremely fun to play Just Cause 2, we get an outstanding tribute to the old days of over the top action games in the form of Renegade Ops. A madman known only as Inferno is threatening to several of the world's major cities if his demands aren't met and its up to a rogue general to gather up a small band of renegades to fight Inferno and stop him dead in his tracks before more civilians are killed. Each of the Renegades have their own unique set of special abilities and weapons that can provide an edge in the battles, the PC version of the game comes with the Half Life games' protagonist Gordon Freeman as an exclusive, he is actually driving the buggy from Half Life 2 and has the special ability to summon Antlions that attack Inferno's unlucky forces. There's also a slight RPG system involved where you can spend points on certain abilities, like faster weapon cooldown, having a special weapon already at the start of a mission and so on, however you can't equip all of them at once and thus you must plan accordingly as to what you might use. The game is best played with a Xbox-360 Gamepad and also with friends, either one friend in a split screen local co-op or online co-op with up to three friends joining you in the battle against Inferno.

It is very well done. It has many missions, the cooperative does super fun. Vehicles are not many, but they have a lot of customization. The graphics are fine. It's like those games where Mame classic 2d were driving vehicles or soldiers. Very similar, but adapted to the new generation of consoles.

Renegade Ops is a very fast paced, explosive vehicle shooter which will have you blow up stuff in a number of detailed, beautifully designed sceneries. You'll have a variety of characters to choose from, each with their own special abilities and skill trees. You earn XP by killing enemy vehicles and completing objectives, and you use the upgrade points to purchase new abilities, be it active or passive, to help you in the fight. You'll pick up power ups to boost your weapons, pick up special weapons and use them when the situation gets out of hand. It's a lot of fun, and it offers enough variety and replayability that you'll love it.

Renegade Ops has a simple structure of the game, is a classic shooter with a view from above, once you have chosen one of the four main characters, he finds himself in a sort of super jeep driving armored different for each character in appearance, but also in some features. Getting good scores during the raids will gain experience to spend to unlock upgrades of various kinds. These allow for example to make the medium more resistant to attack, to extend the reserve of secondary projectiles and so on, ensuring a minimum of customization experience. The levels have a good variety, giving visions of jungles, deserts, ruins, and so on. The maps surprising breadth, so that the developers chose to implement an arrow always ready to show you the way to the next target (primary or secondary). The game manages to entertain in an excellent way, giving some splash of variety, for example, by driving a helicopter, a stolen truck loaded with a nuclear warhead. The best way to enjoy Renegade Ops, however, is in the company of three friends, you can connect online, in local network or via split-screen, limited to two players. With four participants chaos screen will increase exponentially, as well as fun. Is felt in this sense the absence of any additional mode, but the ability to enhance and customize your favorite renegade and quests, provide a good rate of replay value to the product.
