Ghosts of Sleeping Dogs

Sleeping Dogs it self can be considered a phenomena in video gaming. While it can be repetitive and graphically behind current games, it doesn't bore you, it has that element of surprise and new blood flowing all over its game play.

Nightmare in North Point is your old school ghost horror story, the only different is that you karate kick the ghosts out of this world and drive around with your scary dead friends around the town and finish the game. Its not scary, but its enjoyably funny.

more sleeping dog goodness.

Fun DLC

This is a fun DLC pack to go through. It isn't particularly long, but the new enemies are interesting to fight and look good! Definitely worth a play through if you enjoyed the original game

Great addition to Sleeping Dogs.

I really like the concept and I have spend an hour or two in this DLC. A big downside in my opinion is that you do not transfer any of your cars or clothes from the main game into the Nightmare in North Point. You start off with a Kung-Fu garb, and during the entire story around North Point you unlock other clothing and vehicles aswell. But in the end it's not very much to keep you playing for hours and hours.

A Pleasant Surprise

Tensketch | Jan. 5, 2013 | See all Tensketch's reviews »

First things first, this DLC is short. Very Short. Secondly, don't expect your story to be expanded in any way, because it won't. The best way to look at this DLC is to consider it like Undead Nightmare on Red Dead Redemption, merely a bonus story. From the moment the DLC starts, you'll no doubt immediately recognise the piece of pop culture history this is directly parodying. Only interestingly enough, it comes with a Chinese horror culture twist. The DLC will take you about an hour and a half to beat and although it has extra side quest missions to do, there is virtually zero payoff for doing them. I recommend this for people who are massive fans of Sleeping Dogs and want to extend their time with it, albeit by only a little. Use a voucher.

Best DLC so far, still not great

igzaustion | Dec. 31, 2012 | See all igzaustion's reviews »

After waiting for a story-DLC, through months of nothing-DLC, this finally arrived. Naturally, a zombie galore has to be separated somewhat from the main game, but this does not really add anything to the great experience of Sleeping Dogs. Buy this only if you want an hour or two of Halloweeny action.
