In the dark days of the end of World War Two amidst the ruins of Berlin, one bullet can change history…

  • Sniper Elite V2 is the eagerly-awaited sequel to the highly-acclaimed Sniper Elite, giving gamers the most authentic World War II sniping experience available.

  • You are elite US sniper Karl Fairburne. Parachuted into Berlin amidst the Germans’ final stand, your mission is to prevent Nazi V2 rocket program technology from falling into the hands of the besieging Red Army. You must aid key scientists keen to defect to the US, and terminate those who would help the Russians.

  • Take advantage of authentic weaponry, learn how to stalk your targets, fortify your position, set up the shot and use your skill, patience and cunning to achieve your mission. Stealth gameplay is the key as you find yourself trapped between two desperate armies in a race against time.

  • Watch as the celebrated ‘bullet cam’ from Sniper Elite returns, bloodier and more gruesome than ever – skilful shots are rewarded with a slow-motion flight of the bullet, then targets are graphically rendered in X-Ray as the bullet enters and destroys your victim. Organs shred, bones splinter, teeth shatter, as the true impact of the sniper’s bullet is brought to life.

  • As World War Two ends and the Cold War begins, every shot counts. Use them wisely.

Key features:

Sniper Elite V2 features detailed sniping simulation with advanced ballistics, taking into account gravity, wind, velocity, bullet penetration, aim stability and more. Guaranteed to provide players with the most realistic simulation of military sharpshooting yet available.

X-RAY KILL CAM (not available in Germany)

Amazing ‘kill cam’ technology showcases what really happens when a bullet enters an enemy’s body, allowing players to see hearts and lungs tear, livers burst, and bones shatter.

The game features authentic World War II Berlin locations as well as vehicles, weapons such as the Springfield M1903 the Gewehr 43 and the Mosin-Nagant 1891/30, and uniforms modeled after the original versions.

The slightest changes in the environment need to be taken into account to move into the perfect position, observe the quarry, take the shot and slip away unnoticed.

Players will often find themselves facing a choice of the perfect shot that leaves them catastrophically exposed or a more difficult route that means they can continue their mission.

Amazing Sniper Game

This game is amazing for any fan of sniping and slow motion bloody kills. The graphics for the game a quite nice and the game play is a ton of fun. You basically go around trying to snipe enemies from afar, or use submachine guns, pistols, and explosives for close range. One of my favorite features is the slow motion and x-ray view. When you shoot an enemy with your sniper, there is a chance the game will slow down and you can seen the bullet enter the body, hit some organ (you can shoot their testicles off), and exit. The only downside is the game play does get rather repetitive, but other than that the game is great. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a good sniper game.

The idea of sniping is always fun. This game showcases sniping while giving off a great WW2 atmosphere. The story lacks slightly and the graphics arent going to blow you away, but the fun comes from the slo mo cam, the stealth, the weapons and the xray shots. The hard difficuties take wind and bullet drop into account, and your players resting heart rate affects the direction as well. The games multiplayer isnt the best, but the DLC for the game is quite good. From Hitler to zombies, theres plenty to do in the game besides the standard campaign. All in all, its a pretty good game that you should consider if you feel the need for something a little different.

Great Game, but Still some Flaws

If you are a fan of sniper simulators or want to try one out, give Sniper Elite V2 a try. A really neat thing is that if you want a more casual experience you can try the easiest difficulty, the bullet goes where the scope is pointing to. But if you choose the hardest difficulty you will have to take account things like bullet drop, wind etc. There is a great slow motion camera that shows a graphic display of what damage your bullet caused when it goes into your enemy. Yes, you can see people's skull explode. The graphics aren't the best but they're definitely not bad. The sound is pretty good if you have headphones. The flaws are that the multiplayer is pretty bad and it would be better if they tried to improve on the level design to make it more open ended. It's too linear for a sniping game. And sometimes the slow motion bullet cam slows down the action.

The BEST sniper game that you can get your hands on!

Sniping has always been a cool mechanic in FPS games, and the idea to create a game solely on sniping has been a huge miss for the most part cough cough Sniper Ghost Warrior cough cough Sniper Elite V2 on the other hand, delivers a balance of excellent gameplay with an interesting, somewhat historically accurate story. It's a blast to play, and runs amazingly well on PC if you have high specs. I fully recommend the game to anyone who has a sniping itch to scratch.

Best Sniping game out in the market.

There have been a lot of bad reviews toward many of the sniper simulators out on the market, but Sniper Elite V2 is not one of the. This game which is made by Rebellion Studios, takes sniping to a whole new level, with realism with features such as the bullet dropping, stealth, wind direction, and the best part (slow motion camera). It might be initially challenging to those who haven't played a simulator shooter before, but it is rewarding to those who get the grasp of it. Controls were OK with me, but overall it is a descent game.
