They made a port of the previous game over to the GBA. It is called Ulala's Cosmic Attack. Boths of these games are good, except this is the same game in 3D and much better graphics.
The controls are a bit bad but you can remap the keys under options. Once you do that it is fine.
It is more fun when you are playing with someone else in local multi player, but you can have just as much fun in single player.
The game has a nice soundtrack and is the best part of the game in my opinion. It fits the space theme in a sixties like setting.

Space Channel is a music game, one of the first title to be precise. You must essentially push the button following the thythms...and it isn't easy at all. Playing this game require a lot of patience because is hard, just like the first Parappa the Rapper, but when you master the game, it gives you a lot of satisfaction. The plot is full of non-sense and is wonderful, a psychedelic voyage in Sega's mind. One of the best Dreamcast title.

Space Channel 5 part 2 is the great sequel from the first game and It improves the first part a lot, the songs are very catchy, the controls are more precise and maybe It is too short but if you want an original game where you need press commands with rhythm of the songs this is your game!

Space Channel 5 Part 2 is a simple rhythm game. The only moves you need to know are the D-Pad directions, and only two other buttons: A (Chu!) and B (Hey!). Even if the comand are simple, sometimes it's quite hard to get the right button combination to finish the level. The musics are cute and the game is quite original
