Description

The Filth of the Dead DLC replaces all of the words and phrases in Typing of the Dead: OVERKILL with terrible innuendo, outrageous insults and even some slurs in Polish. If you’ve ever wanted to type phrases like ‘Poo protest’ to repel hordes of flesh eating mutants, this is the DLC for you.

There are gamers who love to spit out insults and profanities. You have insulted and cursed over the headphone. Now is the time for you to channel your anger through keyboard.

This DLC adds no new scenarios or cutscenes, however it only adds new filthy words. To increase your filthy dictionary also, you can get this dlc.

Small DLC that turns things to filth

lok0812 | Dec. 18, 2013 | See all lok0812's reviews »

This small DLC turns every words or phases in the game where players have to type out to damage the zombies into light swear words and phases. You will most likely see some funny insults amongst other things when playing with this DLC. While it doesn't add anything else spectacular to the game or anything new, it really turn it into an overkill with these words and phases. If you purchased this game for children to speed up their typing skill then you might want to skip the DLC otherwise grab it and start training in typing insults as fast as you can.

Gets old quick.

As the description says, this replaces the words you need to type into seemingly random profanity. You're going to laugh, probably a lot, when you're "gunning" down zombees by typing Erectile Dysfunction, and there's a lot of variation and creativity in what you're typing.

I applaud the developer's creativity in this DLC, and really wonder how were they able to conceive such an idea. However, as you play through the game you get desensitized with what you're typing. You're no longer amused, and will be quickly reminded that you're just replaying the same game with the same cinematics and mechanics but with different typing prompts.

For its price, it's ok for what it offers. If you're looking for an excuse for replaying this game, definitely pick this pack up. GMG often has sales and/or vouchers available. If you don't see yourself playing the game again, you won't find any reason to come back with this DLC. Then again, for less than $3 USD you'll get some good laugh and some awkwardly tense moments. So value your money to time investment that way.

Hope this helps.
