War of the Roses: Kingmaker is a team based third person action game set in 15th century England. Two rival branches of the Royal House of Plantagenet - the house of Lancaster (the reds) and the house of York (the whites) – fight over the throne, and the player is thrown into the fray.
War of the Roses: Kingmaker arms players with a wide variety of arsenal and armor from the Knights Hospitaller, Gallowglass Mercenary, Winter Has Arrived, and Outside the Law updates. Three new maps and two additional gameplay modes, including the Assault Mode released specifically for this version of the multiplayer action title are also included. War of the Roses: Kingmaker will separate the nobles from the rabble and put knights on the fast-track to glory, ready to fight and die for York or Lancaster – and go down in history as true heroes.
War of the Roses Novel:
Jack Rose would rather be a scholar than a knight. However, when a brutal landowner steals his family estates and plans to evict the tenants, Jack must take up the sword and win back his inheritance by force of arms. As he wades through increasingly lethal encounters, it becomes clear that War is in his blood. Now he must decide who he really is…
This double edition of the Scholar Knight series collects the novels The Sword is Mightier and Blood in the Streets into a single book. Follow Jack Rose fighting his path from scholar to knight, in the dramatic days of the Wars of the Roses.
War of the Vikings E-book: Berserker King:
When Ivar the Boneless, heathen Viking king of Dublin, rampages through the petty kingdoms of Anglo-Saxon England, it's a chance for anybody with the courage to master their own fate.
Hardacanut the Berserker must prove himself worthy of Ivar's elite warband by carving a path to victory at the head of his own unruly band of warriors and freebooters. Young Ecbehrt of Bamburgh, a young English earl, yearns to escape the schemes of his king and flee into a wider world, but the Vikings are coming and war is in his blood.

Well, I've been giddy with anticipation for War of the Vikings. This here is a nice pack, with some goodies. Games itself though... War of the Vikings. It's a step forward from War of the Roses. Combat and overall "feeling" of the game is better. You have more customization options for your warrior. As in the first game there are perks for your character, upgrades for weapons, horse monuted combat, and so on. Weapons and armor are looking neat, I'm no specialist, but they do look like real ones from the epoch might. Graphics also very nice, though this is a secondary thing for me in such games. What's most important is that it plays without lag. And here you have to have a good gaming rig to run this game smoothly. War of the Roses. Well, what to say about it. An older brother of the aforementioned game. Almost everything said about Vikings applies to this game. Perks, many historically accurate weapons, customization, and so on. You can upgrade your statistics, use perks, fight on horseback, etc. All in all, if you want decent fighting game set in medieval, with many customization options and complex builds, those games may be your thing. If you'd like pure action you might consider Chivalry.
