Good game with many extras

You liked War of the Roses, you surely did. Otherwise you wouldn't be even checking this title. The easiest way to describe it is to call it an early medieval version of the War of the Roses game, focused on vikings. It is brutal, it is fast, it is demanding and it is fun. There's not as much heavy armor here, weapons are lighter as well. The surroundings look just right for the period, and you get to play a viking! Moreover the Blood Eagle Edition gives you access to some extras, including a digital artbook, soundtrack, a unique viking helmet for your character, more unlocked gear and one additional DLC for free. And finally there are some bonus coins to spend in the game, so you can customize your character even more. For all these goodies, the price seems more than reasonable.

Fun Game, but this edition probably not worth it

Qwertyfour | Oct. 4, 2013 | See all Qwertyfour's reviews »

War of the Vikings is a pretty fun game, but this particular edition is probably not worth it. It is supposed to come with a bunch of in game items but you do not get them until the game is released. I'm not sure where this game currently stands, but the alpha just ended but the game doesn't feel solid enough to be a beta, so I'm guessing that this early access is somewhere in between. Everything except for the helmet can be gotten through in game means, and I'm usually against payments that'll get you ahead in game. Because of this, I'd recommend just getting the regular edition. This isn't TF2, hats don't really matter
