A strip of hope

Moebius is a good example of mixing modern mechanics with a great story. Many may dislike the appearance of the game, but this seems to be the trademark for POS.

The story is familiar Jane Jensen - rich history blended with fiction and some supernatural elements. The plot is really good with it's subtle adult themes. Game even offers the possibility of dying - like the good old Sierra-games did.

Game mechanics are similar to Cognition - An Erica Reed thriller. Puzzles tend to be very logic in nature, but few person analysis seem very trivial. There isn't so much inventory puzzling - and good so.

The games is a very good proof of point & click -scene is still going on strong and not dying with the introduction of pseudo p&c-games. Towards the end game rushes its story and leaves the player with a feeling of a sequel might explain some things more.

This game is very very very good! Seriously, its brilliant. The graphics in the game look phenomenal and the 2d and 3d environments are mixed together flawlessly. The awesome graphics are accompanied by simply stunning sound design which helps to bring the realistic setting of the game to life. Each of the different puzzles that you will come across in your play through are varied and each present different challenges which help to keep the game fresh. The different locations is also a nice touch and the exploration of each city is a joy. Highly recommended!
