secret files 3 is a point and click adventure where you tackle the adventures of Nina And Max , you start the game by playing a tutorial set in ancient Egypt to teach you the basics of the game and how the rest of your gameplay will be like , mixing inventory items and interacting with the environment , you get introduced to the game in levels and you have to look for clues in each level and solve the puzzles available to advance to the next part of the story , it may involve questioning NPCs for clues and figuring your your next step , the HUD is [pretty easy to understand , you have your map , inventory , quest logs and the important point of interest locator, this tool highlights key objects or points in the scene, which is useful when you get stuck and feel like you missed something which will happen quite often because the puzzles are slightly challenging at times, sometimes you have to do mini games where you can balance on a beam or hang from a ledge and prevent yourself from falling and the game could do without these , but sometimes they're quite fun. Graphics wise it has and awesome 3d art style which feels unique and makes you feel at home if you've played the previous titles , voice acting falls short a bit sometimes and the forced heavy accent for none English speakers is really "heavy" , music is relaxing sound effects are top notch , if you've played the previous titles you're in for a treat.
