This game is an ok pinball game, with a Sonic texture. It's not bad but not really great. It can be quite hard and a bit frustrating. You wouldn't really be missing out on anything if you don't buy.

This was interesting to look at in the early 90s. Once you cleared an enemy & reached a certain point, it moved you to the next area. The problem is dying sets you back to the previous areas and it can be REALLY hard to get that exact sweet spot to get where you want to so you can advance each area. It's a really hard game, but the graphics aged pretty well for being from the Genesis era. There are better versions of pinball out there now, but this is still decent enough to play if you get the Sonic bundle.

To put it simply, it's a pinball game where the ball is replaced by Sonic. It looks okay, not as good as the mainline Sonic games do. The music is pretty good as well. The gameplay is fairly solid, but nothing truly special. All in all, Spinball is a fun title that, if you see it, is worth trying, but nothing truly outstanding.

This game was very original, for the first time Sonic was the ball in a giant Pinball where you need to do high scores and free animals, other games have overcome their physics but it is a very fun game and gives a nice touch of nostalgia.
Buy it if you are a real Sonic the Hedgehog fan.
