In The Rockin' Dead, the player takes on the role of Alyssa, member of the pretty to look at but unsuccessful metal band "Deadly Lullabyes". Following an anonymous invitation to a concert, they have an accident on the bumpy terrain just before they reach their destination. When Alyssa comes round, all the equipment of the band is missing – as well as the rest of the band. The following events span a spaced adventure in utter "B Movie" style: Rocking skeletons, wobbly Elvises and numerous undead put Alyssa through various challenges. An extremely bizarre setting which somehow reminds Alyssa of one of her songs...

  • Bizarre, hilariously exaggerated background story with numerous recurring images in top B movie style

  • 93 detailed locations in dark and different settings

  • Over 20 funny NPCs, professionally narrated, who skillfully capture the humor of the dialogues

  • More than 120 objects in the inventory that can be combined and therefore require the players' skill and logical thinking

  • Thrilling and unusual riddles round off the delightfully crazy overall picture

Decent adventure game

The Rockin' Dead surely is not a masterpiece, not even a great game, but still with a lot defects (and weird puzzles), is a decent product with a nice old athmosphere for lovers of adventure! Buy it only if you like the genre

Pretty fun point & click adventure

They are spot on when they refer to this as a B movie style game with a an exaggerated background story. But that is what give it so much personality. The graphics aren't so good, especially for a 2D game. But the locations are varied and interesting, and it can be really funny at times. The best part of the game would have to be the puzzles. They aren't too hard to figure out, yet they still manage to seem challenging at first and you definitely won't breeze through them. It's something a bit different if you are into point and click adventure games.

Nothing to see here besides an annoying half naked woman who likes to show off her assets. feels like your playing a hooker. So unless your REALLY INTO HOOKERS and mystery games. Not a lot of action too, humor is utilized far too poorly. Like sometimes, the game throws you a joke that you might not even shrug at. Really done too badly. It's not even cute too. Rockin Dead isn't pleasing to the eye at all. I've seen better game sin this genre. But if your looking for a bland storyline with bland gameplay, this is for you.

An awesome, themed adventure game!!!

The Rockin' Dead, although a newer game, follows the same path as many great point and click games of the past. With a humorous and intriguing storyline, detailed graphics, and intuitive gameplay, this game closely follows the point and click genre while still being innovative and new. If you love humor, and deep and original gameplay, you should get The Rockin' Dead.
