Tony Tough marks the return of graphic adventure gaming. Its "point and click" interface is characterized by sophisticated graphics and a superb cartoon- style look. There are tons of places to discover, where you'll meet characters along the way, each one funnier than the last, with plenty of puzzles, laughter, plus the most unforgettable Halloween imaginable.
Small in stature, with an oversized yellow waterproof jacket and huge round glasses: Tony certainly doesn't look like an experienced private detective. For several years he worked on the same investigation, without success. He tried to unmask an infamous psychopathic with the head of a pumpkin who'd run rampant every Halloween night for more than ten years. Now the butt of his colleagues' jokes in the office, Tony Tough knows that this Halloween is his last chance to prove that he's not just some lanky no- hoper without a future in this business.

Tony Tough is a detective and the main character in a game that bears the same title. It is an adventure game which could be considered a successor of the glorious genre which the Monkey Island games were a part of, but unfortunately it is not as good as those games. Fortunately it's not very expensive either, and for its price it offers decent amusement and joy. With some good puzzles, interesting and funny storyline, and really nice sounds, it could benefit from more attention paid to the visual part of the game. Fortunately the most imoportant thing in the game seems to be the characters, and these are really interesting and memorable, especially if you are into adventure games. For a fan of the genre it is a must-have, others may consider it a decent adventure game.
