AI War: Fleet Command

"AI War breaks most of the genre’s rules. Which is precisely why it’s incredible... This out-of-the-blue one-man passion project is one of this year’s finest strategy games." - PCgamer.com
"You are outgunned. You are massively outnumbered. You must win." These are your orders.
Humanity has already fought its war against the machines -- and lost. AI death squads stand watch over every planet and every wormhole, the few remaining human settlements are held captive in orbiting bubbles, and the AIs have turned their attention outward, away from the galaxy, to alien threats or opportunities unknown.
This inattention is our only hope: a small resistance, too insignificant even to be noticed by the AI central command, has survived. These are the forces you will command. The AI subcommanders will fight you to the death when they see you -- but your glimmer of opportunity comes from quietly subduing those subcommanders without alerting central processing to the danger until it's too late.
You do have a few things going in your favor. Your ships are much faster. You have safe AI routines to automate defenses and mining outposts. You have production techniques that can churn out fully-outfitted unmanned fighters in seconds. There will never be more than a few thousand of your ships versus tens of thousands of theirs, but through careful strategy you must somehow reach and destroy the heavily-guarded AI cores.
Go forth into the galaxy, steal AI technology, recapture those planets you must in order to achieve your ends, and save what remains of humanity. But draw too much attention to yourself, and the full might of the AI overlords will come crashing down.

Want a fast paced, immersive strategic game? Look no further. This game puts you in control of various factions, vying for ultimate control. Great game for strategy cum science fiction fans out there. This game gives the player very indepth control of units, specifically when it comes to controlling them up close. (Yes, this game allows from close up zooms) However, it must be noted that this game's graphics are not the best, it certain aspects, such as the designs of units, is rather disappointing. Overall, a worthy game to be played. 7/10

Where as we dont get those crazy AAA graphics....You also save alot of money in comparison to the pricing of a AAA. whereas the game design mechanics and overall enjoyability for me is on par with AAA titles. theres alot of depth and strategy to the gameplay. If space is your thing pick this up!

Firs of all, this game isnt for player who are casual, you will fight against an Ai who beginns with nearly 1000 times more units then you will ever have and thats the fun that come. This game took me 50 hours of playtime and iam even playing it now. Its graphics are under average but its command control is great. You can have a fleet out of over 1000 units, with big ships , commando ships. I had the feeling iam the Imperie in Star wars. But then again, the AI fleet will kill you when you arenot prepared to fight in a gurilla way. Hit and run, get the planets, fortefei them and hope your hackers are able to distract the ai so it will not get it that you took their base. Howi said its addictive and great. Pla it and find out.
